The Drop anchor Makes It
The duo itself makes a frail small (10.1") computer and is quite capable even though it is a tad slow but it's not a powerhouse desktop either. When the Duo is added to the Disguise it makes a fine pair. Sound from the stand alone Duo is minimal and barely a strength; however, when the Adulterate is added it makes a significant difference but, again, it is not a large set of stereo speakers either. I usually disaffect mine on in the morning and let it run most of the time just to hear the background, music or internet radio. I use an 8Gig glint drive to hold music and pictures; however, when I pair it with the desktop it will take several thousand Picasa pictures and show pictures all day. This is not a pill but a netbook computer and well worth it. When it's time to go to the doctor and wait for what seems like forever I have my handy laptop and can use it for about 3 hours since my docs workplace has wireless.

Fetching computer, if only it worked
I bought this computer because it was a chagrined and tablet and it had decent specs for a netbook. When it works it's great. It runs windows 7 wonderfully for web browsing and certificate editing. It is lacking in reliability.I had to send it back to Dell 1 month after I purchased it because it wouldn't turn on. Dell replaced the motherboard. Around 5 months after the first restoration I had to send it back in to have the palm rest(touch pad) repaired. Now, 2 months after the second renovation and 8 months after purchase it won't turn on again and is going to be sent back.I don't know about the rest of the world but I don't anticipate to have a computer fail 3 times in less than 9 months. I have had 2 other Dell laptops which have had no problem this model is poor quality and not up to dell's typical standards, or they have lowered their standards

Fabulously Fun, but itsy-patchy battery charge
I have been waiting to get this. I admiration the multiplicity of it, but the battery charge is barely usable! I had an HP mini with a battery usage capability faculty of NINE (9) hours! I knew this wasn't going to be THAT good, but didn't expect to have to command it repeatedly in ONE (1) day!! I'm a full-time college student as well s a homeschooling mom of 6, I do NOT like to be tied to a recommendation! If there were anything else wrong with this, I would send it back ASAP! However, I will learn to make do. Just wanted to share this tidbit for anyone else that needed that not much piece of 411!

Alarming little machine
I got this a week ago and have been playing with it nonstop since. There are three things you desideratum to be aware of when purchasing this: 1) The screen is even smaller than on most netbooks because of the flip design. The versatility more than makes up for it though. 2) The mobile is not removable and is good for about 3 hours. 3) Windows 7 Home Premium only likes to intention drives on other machines running Windows 7. My home PC was running Vista. It could look at and right of entry the drives on the Duo; but the Dou will only look at drives in it's Homegroup. Only Windows 7 supports homegroups. I upgraded my desktop to Windows 7 Haven Premium and now they network amazingly well. Setup was a snap. I have thick fingers, but I haven't found that I need to use the stylus (bought singly) with it. The keyboard is well laid out. The touch screen took a little getting used to. Long-drawn-out Fail (to) Beautiful & Slow
I will be updating this reading in about two weeks, but I think what has happened with the product so far warrants review as it's an experience I would want to differentiate about when making my purchase. I currently have an iPad but was given the opportunity to review the Dell Inspiron Mini Duo. My first effect out of the box was that this is an impressive product. The casing appeared to be high quality, with good button retort and a firm swivel to the screen. The back was much nicer than my iPad, the grip is smooth and comfortable. Surely on specs alone I was extremely interested in what this tablet / laptop combination had to offer. During set up I was also impressed with the the ease of using the be on a par with pad. (Non-responsive lap top touch pads are a key issue for me.) All the signs were good. Setup took an uncommonly long time, with what seemed to be numerous unneeded 'I Agree' and set up screens. Not much guy packs a lot of punch!
We got this computer Saturday and have not stopped playing with it. My first impressions were that the square footage was perfect and the flip screen was an excellent added bonus. Just the flip gauge alone would make me buy this over other computers, and then the fact that it is a touchscreen sealed the deal. All in all this, is a wonderful mini computer with a few flaws, but nothing that is a sell breaker. This computer comes with all the features standard on Windows 7. Does not load my Dell XPS M1530
I bought two of these adapters, philosophy for the price, I could keep one at the office and one at home. Well, when I received the box the first red flag occured in that I noticed it was super underweight to have two adapters inside, and when I pulled it out of the box I noticed these were definitely lighter and appeared more cheaply made then my primary. However,I thought as long as it did the job, I was fine with a lighter adapter. My second red flag was that I noticed it only came as a two-pronged adapter dam up, where my original Dell adapter had three-prongs. So I plugged it in, hit the power button, then a loud beep occured during boot-up saying that my "Dell XPS M1530 could not discern the wattage and it needs a minimal 65watt adapter, and that my laptop battery probably would not charge and that I should use a Dell adapter". My Dell laptop beeps randomly every 20 mins or so. The beeping rumbling the the same beep you hear when you plug/unplug a USB cable. I dont have any USB devices plugged in, so it cant be a loosen cord. Anyone have any idea on how to stop this?

My computer is a Dell Inspiron 1525...it beeps 3 times (sounds like it's beeping IN the keyboard) and then it says something and won't start...any thoughts what could be wrong with it or how I can diagnose what's wrong?
