Coolth Feet Indeed!
Bluelouge's Cold-hearted Feet are probably the easiest and simplest laptop stand you'll find out there in my opinion. They come with a small bag for transport and endure to the bottom of a MacBook Pro quite easily without the need to use the included adhesive plates. I've had these cool feet since May 19, 2008 and support them to anyone looking for a way to help keep their laptops cool; I've even given them as a gift to a fellow MBP owner and he reminiscences they were great. Just be forewarned that there are a few things you need to keep in mind: * The suction cups do prick well, but they'll fall off if you decide to pack up your stuff and walk everywhere with them still on. They won't continue on!
I have a 2007 aluminum Macbook Pro. Because it is all metal, the rouse conducts and the base gets really hot. These seemed like a really good idea at first. I bought these from the bluelounge website(in the notebook kit) But I tout de suite found out they weren't tested for usability. The suction doesn't work well enough on the aluminum outside. Then I decided to soil my laptop by sticking the smooth disc like surface that came with it. It was wonderful annoying to always try and stick the feet on the right spot without turning the laptop upside down. But slowly, with use, even those smooth discs got scratched. I'm trusty it will happen you everyone's sooner or later. And they don't stick very well anymore. Definitely no good when using them on the bed, your lap etc where the laptop will move around. I would not buy this yield again. And don't think I'd recommend it to anyone either.

As many population have mentioned, this product is NOT the same as the product advertised. The rubber feet do not have the Cool Feet insignia and no pouch is included. The artefact seems to work properly, but it was disappointing not to receive the brand and product I ordered.

Most of laptop cooler/iciness pads are made of PLASTIC and use fans that blow air TOWARDS the laptop. What impresses me about this product is that the cooling surface is made of ALUMINUM (honest like the aluminum casing used to keep portable hard drives cool) and its fans Depart/SUCK HOT AIR AWAY from underneath the laptop. This method of REMOVING hot air is superior to blowing room temperature air at the laptop (it's also the same arrangement used by laptop/desktop internal fans). MY TESTS: I compared the latest Targus high-priced-speed chill mat (Model PA248U) to this one. After running the laptop for one hour on each, I noticed the surface of the laptop (keyboard, palm relaxation, touch pad, etc.) was the same in both cases (very cool). But there was a noticeable difference on left side of my laptop (where my Dell's internal fan exhausts lukewarm air). I bygone one of my rubber feet from my laptop and I am trying to find them on the internet but all I seem to come up with is the inspiration rubber feet.
Do any of you know where to get the rubber feet for my Dell?
They don't normally trade in those 3rd party. You would need to call Dell and get them directly from there.
