omitting memory for a MBP 2011 i5 13'
This honour is great for my new MBP 2011, i5 13", also when Mac OS detects 8 Gb of memory, the graphic memory increases up to 512 Mb (from the character 384 Mb w/ the integrated intel hd3000 chip)

Works on a February 2011 MacBook Pro 15 inch
Plugged it in, put the back stretch over back on, fired it up holding down the D key to run the memory test. Memory test ran OK. Restarted. "About This Mac" shows "Recollection 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3." Note: After removing 10 screws, the back cover remains retained by two pliable clips near the center. Pry it up gently and it pops off.
What a traffic
Fair-minded replaced my 2 month old 15" macbook pro with the newest i7 model they released a few days ago. So my old 8GB wasn't like-minded anymore. Only about 5 months ago that older style memory cost me not quite three times what this newer RAM fetch. Got it installed without any issues in the laptop, booted up fine, works fine. Most successfully price I found, can't believe how cheaply I got this new laptop up to 8GB. Edit - worked great on my new 2011 Mac Mini as well, now has 8GB.

2011 MacBook Pro 15" Retention Upgrade
Unbiased installed this 8gb ram kit into a new 2011 MacBook Pro 15"; upgraded from the standard 4gb to 8gb with no compatibility problems. These module industrialist labels matched the originals removed. Writing this review just an hour after crowning. So save the $100 from Apple upgrading your MacBook Pro ram and you still retained the 4gb as backup.

Performs well on my Mac Mini
I bought this as a DIY upgrade for my Mac Mini (share Mid 2011, i5 @ 2.3GHz, 2 GB DDR3 RAM). The RAM fits correctly and has noticeably improved the performance of my organization. Installation was a little tricky because of the confined working area inside the Mini's trunk. Eventually I got both sticks to fit into their slots and clipped down. Overall the install took less than five minutes -- nothing to labour over. I booted into OS-X (Lion 10.7.1) without any issues and the 8 GB showed up in 'About This Mac' immediately. I highly recommend this result, especially if you're a DIYer and want to save some money on your Mac Mini RAM upgrades.

As accustomed, Crucial does not disappoint! I have never had a problem with any Crucial product. They are the best! FYI, If you own a computer with one of the newest i3, i5, or i7 processors, you Call for extra RAM! The new Intel processors, while fast, are very RAM hungry! My previous iMac (a mid 2007 24" model with a 2.8Ghz Gist2 Duo processor) only had 4GB of RAM (the max it takes), but did just fine. I never expected that a computer could ever possibly need more RAM than that. But, after I loaded all the same programs onto my new 27" iMac with a 3.2Ghz i3 dual pith processor (using Apple's migrate utility), I was shocked to find that it was running MUCH SLOWER than my old iMac, with the same amount of RAM installed as my old one (4GB)! I checked the Energy Monitor, and it turns out it was using up all the RAM (and then some) and then using virtual memory after that (you could always hear the internal carefully drive spinning) Fortunately, unlike the...
