Major screen!
This is a outstanding screen to replace by broken macbook screen. Looks great and can't even tell it's not the one that came with the computer. Coronation is a little tricky - I followed the following youtube videos below: [...] The thing that gave me the most dissatisfaction was putting the bezel back on after I was done with the install, I think I am going to have to purchase replacement bezel clips (no big lot). Also, my recommendation when connecting the screen wires is to find where it plugs into, instead of doing it rash like the video says.

It was a fit of be ready for a strait-jacket fueled by helpless futility, or maybe calculated frustration. Whatever the reason, the LCD screen sits in its bezel displaying rainbow colors against spider web-like cracks in the foreground. It is completely beautiful, except for the dawning realization that a reboot won't fix this particular glitch. Perhaps the BSOD should be renamed to RSOD (Rainbow Mesh of Death). What to do? The internet has always come through before. Let's see what they have to say...Hey! There is a nice replacement LCD screen manufactured by LG and distributed by MLC Assignment Inc. The price is well under $100, and detailed instructions for replacing the LCD screen can be found out ifixit dot com. Seems like company reviews for it...okay, let's take a chance on this. Works like gangbusters!
Firstly if you have a Macbook A1181 (tick on the bottom of your macbook), this display is the right one. It fits perfectly, there is no problem with the backlight wires becoming (despite a "helpful" review to the contrary), etc. With regards to the screen, it is phenomenal and, as mentioned in other reviews, is crisper and brighter than the OEM strainer was when it was new. Nice glossy display that looks and feels like my macbook pro rather than a macbook. With regards to the fix in place, there are youtube videos and tutorials easily found via google. There are only two things I would mention: 1. clear out sure the backlight connector is seated correctly before you close it up; the video I watched said to do correctly that and I'm glad I did, because it took me a couple of tries to get it seated correctly and have a functional backlight. 2. Execute the clips from the bezel before reapplying it or you will crush the clips and then have to try to get them back into the correct shape...

Yard goods High-Capacity Replacement Battery
Replaced the primordial battery that came with my 13" MacBook model #MB404LL/A. Also installed a faster hard drive that uses more power than the autochthonous drive, and running on this battery with the power-hungry drive and constantly high CPU habit it takes about as long to drain this battery as is took to drain the original battery with the prototypical hard drive and only intermittently high CPU usage. My only concern is that monitoring the current factual capacity with coconutBattery 2.7 it started out reporting 5003 mAh, and after less than a month it's down to 4396 mAh - if it keeps decreasing that fast I'll have to supplant it again much too soon, but I'll just have to wait and see about that.

sympathetic but not great
its very bargain-priced, so i cant complain too much, what i didnt like is that it doesnt have a reserve, when you get the mesage that 10% of the battery, you only last like 1 r before it dies, and it doesnt save anything so you'd better watch out!

Realize cant beat the price fit my black macbook perfect
I debated for a eat one's heart out time if I wanted to buy an aftermarket battery for my mac, I read some reviews and they all said that they work exalted. So I ordered this battery and it was delivered extremely fast and it fit the computer nicely. It is not an Apple Battery so does not fit exceedingly perfect but for me at the price it fits snug and it holds a good charge. I am not disappointed , and you will not be too. Buy this a substitute alternatively of spending the 130 dollars at the Apple Store on the same thing. Works Perfect.

healthier than the original
We were reasonable a bit wary of purchasing this instead of the Apple original, but now we prefer it. It's less cumbersome to use and has a longer cord. And it's a lot cheaper. It's been in continuous use daily. We like it!
Fine fantastic Replacement
Outstanding replacement and works very well. Sometimes sparks a little when you plug it in and thats because its a two prong and doesn't have the training plug like the standard one. This isn't a problem and also the power brick doesn't get hot at all. Great buy.

illustrious for the price
this i s a complex alternative and back up to the apple charger. i keep it in my bag so i never have to worry about packing a charger. i would recommend you get one if you take your macbook places all the values bright and early.

for norm your laptop is model no.a1181 and your mains charger is a1184 and your battery is a1185. will it not effort or may it work but be danerous? cause mine are different should they be all the same model number?
I propose b assess as long as they're compatible, it'll be alright, check with apple for compatibility. Normally if the battery and/or mount gave the same output as the original it will be alright. Once I use 45w main charger on my iBook (the unprecedented

hi i perfectly brought this 2nd hand and dont know much about them how can i tell what model it is thanks
i.e: a1181 thats what the seller tells me it is but how do i reinforce thanks
I be convinced of one of the items in the Apple menu in the top left is "About this computer", or something like that, which I believe should confine all the information.
