Works Serious for Inspiron 1525
I was very skeptical about buying this AC adapter. I had untouched batteries in my computer and I was still receiving a message that my AC adapter was not recognized and my battery was not charging. My old adapter was still powering my computer but nothing else. Dell's website has the worst reviews for the AC adapters so I scheme this would be a better/cheaper route. The product is working perfectly. I plugged it in and it worked Tory away. My screen did not display the "AC Adapter is not recognized" upon powering up and the battery is charging. I am very pleased with this product.
Verified Dell charger...powers PC AND charges battery!
This is a Valid Dell charger. A bit bigger than the one that came with my Latitude D630, and uses a 3-prong plug as an alternative of 2 prong, but works perfectly. There are a LOT of junky AC adaptors on the market which power the laptops, but do NOT tax the batteries. This is a REAL charger/adaptor. High quality. Works perfectly. Above-board price...so I leave this ALWAYS at my desk at home ready to plug in whenever I use my laptop there, and keep the other (original one) ALWAYS in my laptop bag so I've got it if I'm travelling and paucity it!

OEM Dell Inspiron AC adapter
I have been very delighted with this power supply. It has been operating every day for the past month since I bought it and it has been working fine. It is gripping to note that this power supply is a full 90W supply. Please don't be fooled into buying the cheaper 60W versions from other vendors. These cheaper 60W supplies ignite themselves out after about a month, especially if you are using USB devices that need to draw power from the laptop via the USB port. I skilled in this from personal experience. This supply is an OEM replacement my original laptop power supply, not just a cheaper knockoff.

PA-12 vs PA-10 Dell AC Adapters
I fix up and repair all the Dell systems for my company and see there a lot of complaints on the PA-12. 1) before purchasing an AC Adapter for you dell notebook look at back and it will be effective you what adapters you can use PA-10/PA-12 some notebooks can use both. 2) the PA-10 has a higher amp rating than the PA-12 therefore if you hope for your notebook to charge faster and your notebook is compatible with both get the PA-10. Since this is most likely what shipped with your computer. You can also look at your old adapter. 3) Underived DELL Adapters are a beater choice over the OEM one's for 2 reasons. A) the connectors are inter changeable with your pre-existing one sometimes the line from the wall to the adapter gets damaged and good to keep if it good. B) I find that the original adapters have less issues, yes there are some OEM adapters that are honourableness but those are usually more expensive. I hope this helps dell users in purchasing the...

Does not calling with the D600
I ordered this for the Dell Latitude D600 - and it doesn't exertion with that model. I noticed when it arrived that it was a little larger than the one that came with the laptop, but tried it anyway. An error popped up on my desktop "adapter could not be identified, battery-operated will not charge". A similar comes up on boot.

It's a scarcely tricky I must say, they put a genuine dell product on the photo and they send you something else. I am going to say that the price is right, the result itself works great, I have two and there still kicking after three months, so that's good. The original dell ones cost like 50 bucks and don't last. But I don't like to be misled. I contacted the seller and they said, oh, See sorrowful, please return it for a full refund, but I need it! Nice trick! I ended up keeping it. five stars for the offshoot one star for the trick.

Not a meet product...
I was very in the seventh heaven with this product at first. But for some reason after ONE month the charger completely stopped working!! To make certain it wasn't the computer we plugged in our old charger and it worked. So, we know for sure that it is the new charger. The battery compact part of the cord also got REALLY hot. But anyways, piece of crap, don't waste your money.
It will fry your laptop
Do not buy this mare. The model number of my old matched this one, but the amperage was too high. This was not listed on the website. My sister's computer now does not run because of this mount. It's completley fried. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER OR THIS CHARGER!
Not charitable at all
This offering caused serious issues with my laptop. It caused the screen to go bright and then go dark while using. It also would tell me plugged in and not charging. I would not tout this charger as a replacemnt for anyone and Amazon should really consider taking it off the site as prodsuct.

I have a Dell 1501 Inspiron Laptop (bought last december) that recently has been saying that the AC adapter can't be recognized and the mobile will not charge. I am using the adapter that came with the computer.... I am concerned is there something wrong
Mine did this for a day and then worked again. So is it only doing it sometimes, or all the constantly?
After I reformatted my hard drive, it started working again. Try that.
