Ideal fit, Hassle Free
I purchased this goods for my Dell Latitude D820, after I found out that my optical drive was dying. The obvious signs included dull burning speed, and a progressively worse burn quality. After reviewing many option in Amazon, I picked this one and I'm unspecified it was a good choice. The Drive arrived quickly, it was a perfect fit in my drive bay, and the computer recognized it instantly (bung and play). I was burning a test disk within 5 minutes of unpacking it, and it worked to ideal. Even the paint on it matches the paint on the computer almost exactly. Great Product and at a much better price than the replacement component from Dell.

What is there to say, it's a DVD actor and burner. I purchased this dvd to replace the original CDROM that just up and stopped working one day. It burns disc no refractory and it plays dvds equally well. Fits my Dell D610 notebook just like the authentic. I have no complaints about this drive at all.

Passable deal
Ordered one for my Dell D620: Less than a week later solely slipped out old dvd-rom and slipped in burner, added the drivers to my os and started burning (works sunny)! Good deal on good drive.

Works like a allure
The close works like a charm. At first i thought my cd/dvd rom drive wouldn't fit, but then i realized I had to remove some more extra plastic from the drive (that I took out of my old laptop). Excellent value for the money!
Egregious product
lovely sturdy good quality plastic but i wish the usb cable wasn't a 1 to 2 setup I got this for a netbook laptop and the laptop only has 3 usb haven but its ok because it doesn't have to be plugged in at all times

you have 3 options:
start menu > computer > your cd spur (right click) > eject
some cd drives have a small whole near the eject button on the cd drive (butt with paper clip)
or press the button that ejects (on your cd drive)

So- I have a Dell Studio laptop and I put a CD into it. I no that you are assumed to use the "touch screen" buttons, but mine don't work (a SEPERATE quandary) so is there any other ways to eject the CD...I really need to get it out. Thanks!
