I ordered the castigate item...thought it wouldn't hold a charge...contacted Customer Service via email, heard back from someone in a wink, they listened to my problem (battery wouldn't hold a charge)...Customer Service apologized and sent a new one...assign battery, same problem...15 minutes of working time after 24 hours of charge epoch...so I contacted Customer Service again...it was suggested that perhaps something might be wrong with my charger...had to spend a couple of life span locating charger that would work on my Dell laptop...finally located one....plugged up the new battery, charged it up...installed it into the laptop...showed a 4+ hour imbue, which is probably the maxim...then charged the first batter they had sent...it also charged to the 4+ hours criterion...so...I also needed a new Dell charger...with much embarrassment, I shipped the second battery back to these great folks...so sorry that I didn't net my charger is bad...now I'm deciding if I want to order a new charger...
Won't about a charge after one year
I've had this battery for scrupulously one year and three weeks and it stopped holding a charge about three months ago. The laptop works correctly when the battery is captivated out and is left plugged in with the AC cord and adapter so that is not the problem. I've tried taking the battery out, I checked for indemnity to the prongs, I looked for leakage or connection issues, I even made sure it wasn't an outlet culmination. I am horrendously disappointed for the money I spent that this lasted less than a year.
Laptop Battery
I found this battery to be inoperative. When charging,the computer flashed a warning light and would not charge completely. I was able to return it for a full refund.

Grand replacement battery
I have a DELL Inspiron 1525 and the authentic battery drop dead at exactly one year. Original battery did not keep laptop running for more than 1 hour when was working, but quickly failed and did not keep power at all. If I unplugged the laptop adapter the laptop shut down inmediatelly. I bought this battery 9 cell one year ago and still keeps sustained laptop at least 3 hours. I recommend this battery because the laptop does not recognize that is a non original replacement. I have heard that some batteries of other vendors are recognized by the DELL laptop as non originals and the software does not permit to direction them. My DELL is 2 years old and this replacement battery works good.

Does not fit my Dell 1525
The specs say it replaces a Dell M911G (and M911G is printed on the battery). It will neglect into the computer, but does not fit properly, so the locks do not shut. As soon as I stand up the battery falls out and the computer shuts off.

Worked for a week...
I'm contrite, but this battery only worked for about a week, then quit working altogether--the battery light started blinking, and the battery was totally defunct (when I unplugged the power supply, the computer would shut right down). I had to return it.
Not the most adroitly choice
almost forthwith I began to have problems with this battery. My laptop either would not recognize it or would not charge it. Once, I left it plugged in all night with no indication that anything was unjust. The next morning in class I turned it on and the battery was dead and my computer just shut down. My advice is to buy one from Dell. It may cost more, but the peace-loving of mind is worth it.

Purchased 4 - 2 have gone bad in first month
I purchased 4 of these batteries for my band at the end of March for replacements. So far I have had 2 fail. Each failed within a week of handing them out to my employees. I did purchase a few of these in Jan and those are still working. Not confident if they have a bad batch. Amazon returns worked flawless. Mark

This started a few existence ago but It doesn't seem that my battery is low, even when i unplug the computer it still lasts the normal amount. I let the computer fully die, but it still didn't go away. Any lend a hand?
Sounds like you need a new laptop battery for dell laptop.
I advance you return it back to dell service station and make them look at it.

There are 3 led lights on the front of my Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop. The furthest dyed in the wool one, looks like the battery charging led, is constantly flashing 4 times rapidly, then a steady immature flash. Why is it doing this? How do i turn it
