Works like a enrapture
The run works like a charm. At first i thought my cd/dvd rom drive wouldn't fit, but then i realized I had to remove some more supererogation plastic from the drive (that I took out of my old laptop). Excellent value for the money!

charming sturdy good quality plastic but i wish the usb cable wasn't a 1 to 2 setup I got this for a netbook laptop and the laptop only has 3 usb haven but its ok because it doesn't have to be plugged in at all times

I did not gross the dvd+rw burner it was a cd burner. It was supposed to be new but it was obviously used. It also didn't fit into my dell laptop. I sent an email to the seller but no reply.

Decent pop it in and you are ready to go!
My old, old inspiron was almost imperceptible and the CD player, burner was not working at all. Just order this, pull out the old and pop in the new one and you are ready to go. Great way to upgrade and not have to buy a new computer!!!

A CD is stuck in my Dell laptop but it has no guide eject thingy. Also since this has happened, my disk drive is no longer recognised on the system.
How do i get the disk out and how do i reimburse my disk drive?
If it has the take control for the drive I have don't this by repeatedly touching the eject touch and turning the laptop on and keep touching the the eject adjoin button, the drive should eject the disc.
If not enter the BIOS and set to load safe

my dell studio 15 laptop has a berth on the side to put in a disc and i did but there arent any buttons on the outside of the laptop to eject it. how do i then????
studio 15's have meddle with sensitive controls on the top part of the keyboard area...there should be an eject button/control up there so all you have to do is touch that. appropriate luck and enjoy your computer!

got a new laptop today its alluring its a dell studio 1537 i have left all the instruction books at my mums and dont have knowledge of how to eject a dvd disc from the laptop as there is no eject button next to disc slot. any immediate help would be greatfully
