I had infringed the letter "i" off my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop (got something, probably a crumb stuck under it and accidentally broke the metal strip of the key while trying to put it back on). I was told that breaking the metal binding was a death sentence, and needed to put back the keyboard. So I shopped, saw lots of positive reviews for SunValleyTek keyboards, and went with them. I got the keyboard shipped to me and it at home several days earlier than predicted (they told me Thurs, I think I got it mon or tues). I installed this new keyboard and it works vast (I'm typing on it now). I tested each key, and every key on the board works. And this keyboard is quieter than my original keyboard! I'm very happy with it. For particulars on installing keyboard, it's not that difficult once you know what to do and obtain the proper tools. First, you unplug your laptop and take out the battery. Then I cast-off a butter knife to pop up the plastic cover that has the text...

Awe-inspiring Replacement Keyboard
A laptop was noted to me and the user told me they spilled on the keyboard. I booted up and certain keys would not respond (A,S,W,D) but the rest worked superbly. I tried cleaning the keyboard, but that was no good. I bought this keyboard and the laptop works like new. Note: The hint for me that it was the keyboard that was bad and not the keyboard coordinator on the motherboard was the fact that all of the working keys were actually functioning correctly. There were just a few that weren't working at all. If your keyboard has skilled a spill and you have similar symptoms, replace the keyboard for sure. However, if you type on your keyboard and you get crazy, unexpected lettering, you've likely fried a chip on your motherboard and replacing the keyboard WOULD PROBABLY NOT DO YOU ANY GOOD. I bought this keyboard because I unexpectedly broke a key from my original one. This one fits perfectly on my E1505, works like a charm and even at home before the estimated date. Would recommend this replacement keyboard and the BrilliantStore seller anytime.

Inexact ADVERTISEMENT
The keyboard that is in the twin is the keyboard I need for my actual laptop. I received a completely different keyboard and now I'm disappointing and probably going to have to benefit it to these FALSE ADVERTISERS!

I well-founded installed the keyboard in my Dell Studio 1535. Works great. Installation is a snap. Don't expect to find much in the way of guarantee with the shipment. Reasonably clear instructions for the 1535 are on the Dell site. [...]

Works like New.
I got this over a year and I am typing on it convenient now. It was easy to put in, after I read it on Dell.

I was skeptical that this keyboard would occupation well with my Dell Studio 1558 laptop because it was so inexpensive. It does work, however, including the backlight. It fits well and the backlight is by far toggled on and off. I have nothing to complain about at all.

I have a dell inspiron 1545 copy that needs a new keyboard. Is it possible to find and install a keyboard into wit with LED lights? I think it would be cool :) The original keyboard does not have lights but I was just now wondering if a lighted keyboard
It may be reachable though I would think twice!
lighted keys sound fun but I can tell you they will drive you to distraction when Euphemistic pre-owned, they have a slight reflection to the screen and so when your working you see them sort of flash

No, the Dell Inspiron 15 laptop does not have the keyboard lighting act. But the Dell Studio 15 laptop does. It is an optional feature though.
