sounds like everyone having a dilemma is getting a charger with the wrong wattage, E1505 laptops require 90w adapters and E1405 laptops make 60w adapters, yet this company has both listed in the compatability section. Sounds like they are shipping underpowered 60w adapters to those that want 90w...underpowering a laptop poses no real risk to your laptop but results in the underpowered screen flickering, a cut out in trackpad (mouse) power, and even a record pitched noise comming from the charger. underpowering also later results in a smoking and defeated charger. These are ALL symptoms of a 60w charger being used for a 90w computer, and are ALL symptoms listed by other bad reviews.i wouldn't buy one until they have the compatability chaos figured out, or at least list the wattage of their product.

Throw away
Don't buy this! It made my screen glimmer non-stop and their is no easy way to return this product. It barely charges my computer and it was definitely not worth it. I'm contrite I didn't listen to the bad reviews but I needed it and did not think it could be that bad.

Latitude computer
We have a Latitude computer,, it is the E5400. It was givenn to my son to use with his principles work. We have had it all school year. Because of it's durabliity and size we have just started using it as our rest-home computer. It is 11:54 pm and I am online looking to see how much it would cost to replace this computer. I have to give it back tomorrow and I dont want to. We have nine clutch all have touched/used this computer over the last nine months nad it is in amazing condition. It has wonderful keys. I just in actuality like it. And if I can afford one I will be getting one.. or perhaps two. Really no joke. it has not crashed nor has it been repaired. We have had not one problem with it. I would strongly recomend this computer. Really I will miss it a lot.

Ok, if you basic something for occasional use.
Note: My presence gave me this laptop for work purposes. I've used it for over a month now. I didn't pay for it, so don't know what the cost of this laptop is elsewhere on the internet or in stores.Shape: Looks like a good sturdy laptop for office use. Durability wise, no problems so far.It does quality heavy for it's size though. It is ugly because it's a "business class" product and not a home or a media arrange product. The screen size is thicker than other laptops that you get today.Configuration & Performance: Mine came with a Gist 2 Duo, and 4 GB ram. Shipped with Windows 7 professional. So far it has handled whatever I've thrown at it quite well. I've tried a couple of videos on it, the speakers are alright. I've old it for running Visual Studio (2010) and Eclipse (Helios) and it's handled both really well. The boot up just the same from time to time feels a little high for the configuration, but it's not too bad.Noise: The fans are extremely silent and not equitable on...

Our devotees purchased a Latitude laptop for every teacher in our school this year. They are very useful if you are looking for a paper substance or need to flatten out student paintings from art class. Otherwise, they are useless. All of them crash at least once a day, and I mean with the menacing blue screen featuring the ominous fatal error message. Several crash in lieu of a screen shareholder-- students come in for a class, you teach for an hour and return to the computer to complete you work and, Voila!, the lover melancholy screened fatal error message. This has happened this morning six times already and it is only 10:26 am. I underwrite you spend your money elsewhere, Perhaps in decorative paper weights with the blue bird of happiness in place of of this lap top with the blue screen of despair.

Famed Brand, Great Price, Buy it!
Well, I was shopping for a new guardian to upgrade my 15 inch lcd. After shopping around, I saw this monitor and instantly was intrigued. A 24 inch study for less than 200 dollars seemed a little cheap. But anyone who knows about computers can tell you that Asus is no uncomfortable name. So I gave it a shot, and I don't regret it! This monitor looks great with computer games, it has all the computer inputs you basic as well as HDMI! Hooking an Xbox 360 through this looks just as good as my 1080p 42" tv. Even my HDMI DVR box looks elevated with this monitor. The buttons feel a little cheap on this, but when do you ever use them? This monitor is a smart choice to come to someone's rescue the most money and have the same quality as a $400 monitor. I get compliments about this monitor from people who paid way more for an HP or Dell prefect. If you are the least bit interested in this product, buy it!After almost a year with this monitor, it still performs perfectly. The blue power headlight did burn out however...
Fantastic picture for 1 month. Then a customer service nightmare.
The up on had a very nice picture for the month that it was functioning. When it went black suddenly, I was sent into the ASUS Fellow Service abyss. All phone calls seemed to send me back to the website... which was useless. I for ever managed to get an RMA and sent the monitor back at my cost. After 5 weeks with no email or calls as to the status of the prefect, I finally received my supposedly repaired monitor back. Blacks are red. The picture quality is monstrous with ghosting and flickering everywhere. Clearly nobody even looked at the monitor after "repairing" it.I will seek a refund and will never purchase ASUS products again.

it may be due to out of order display cable, that is the cable connecting the display and motherboard. or else its due to faulty pageant panel. u can replace both panel n cable for free if u have warranty.

I only got a new battery for my Dell 9300 laptop because the old one was dead. But I now quite often have the laptop continuously switching between the two power sources - as indicated by the power icon - and this makes the screen sparkle.
