Not what I expcted
I bought this mention along with the D-7AC adapter, as I was led to believe this would also charge my camera while connected.NOT! It just powers the camera while downloading to the PC. Don't make the same faux pas I did.. It's a pretty expensive mistake to make.
Hold your Battery
My Olympus Vigorous 8010 camera does great HD video. The only thing is the battery life is short, that is only about 45 minutes. The Olympus camera will only write down about 25 minutes before it stops and saves the clip. Running on the battery only gives you about two 20-25 before you can say 'Jack Robinson' clips before you have to change the battery.This adapter will let you run off of a wall wart (power transformer sold one by one).The adapter works. My problem the whole unit is heaver than I would like. It puts a strain on the mini USB connector. I ended up putting some rubber bands around the twine and over the camera to take the strain off the micro USB connector.Be careful and don't cover the camera's microphone when doing this.I wish there was a power adaptor/USB mention (all in one) that I could have gotten.Anyway I got through the training video shoot and saved my battery.This device does not precept the battery while powering the camera. AC Adapter Achieve and Right on Time
I am in Afghanistan and needed an AC power adapter for my S602Z fuji camera. Without a hitch ordered on Amazon, great price, and it was delivered 9 days earlier than the earliest predicted execution. Replaced Fuji adapter
While this adapter is not a carbon specimen of the original, the one time that I have used it, it appear to work as well as the original. I have not had a uses for the Mini Tripod yet.
