Outstanding Memory From Corsair, As Usual
Does your Mac only have 4GB of RAM? Upgrading the honour in your system is still one of the quickest and easiest ways to boost its performance. Buying it from a memory company in place of of Apple will save you TONS of money. Though, unlike high performance desktop tribute, there aren't as many distinguishing factors when considering which SODIMM to buy. Pretty much all the major manufacturers have comparable stated performance specs, so why would you choose Corsair's Mac Memory Kit over the others?PROS:- Great value- Tested at Apple's compatibility lab- Proven reliability- Excellent support- Lifetime warrantyCONS:- Definite to remove from packagingINSTALL & MEMORY TESTInstalling the Corsair Mac Memory kit in a 15-inch MacBook Pro was immediate and easy, though I struggled a little bit trying to remove the modules from the plastic packaging. The celebration was immediately recognized by OS X and everything ran quickly and...
Exceptional Product, & Easy to Install
I have employed lots of Memory modules over the years, and Corsair has come to be one of my top choices when making a attain. I recently obtained the Corsair [Apple Approved] 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 1066 PC3-8500 DDR3 Recall for my Macbook Pro 13" (Late 2009 - 2010 model). The memory itself worked on boot up no issues, and as far as the inauguration on the macbook pro, its not so bad. Granted the install is a lot different than that of the white MacBooks, but it is still pretty simple. All that is required is a humiliated screwdriver and some patience. There are many tutorials on how to do this on Youtube, pretty much its as simple as removing 10 slight screws (I would highly recommend keeping them in order, as at least 3 of the screws are longer and must go back in specific holes) and having somewhere to situation them safe so they don't fall or get lost. ** Of course as always due care is required when touching or shifting components inside your computer, things like a simple static charge...
    MacBook Pro Remembrance Upgrade
I've been looking into upgrading my MacBook Pro from 4GB to 8GB for some every so often old-fashioned. When I saw a deal on this, it was a no-brainer. When it arrived, I removed the existing memory from my laptop and replaced it with the Corsair, turned on the computer and it worked. Undecorated as that.

Ameliorate memory for the Apple MacBook Pro 2011 Latest model
This is the established memory for the Apple MacBook Pro 2011 Latest model. I called Corsair and they gave me this perfect model #.Before I installed the memory, my MacBook Pro showed I had 4GB 1333 MHZ DDR3.After the installation of the memory, my MacBook Pro showed I had 8GB 1333 MHZ DDR3.Station took 5 minutes.Place a towel on a table, turn your computer over and place it on the towel.Kill all screws that hold the back cover in place. The upper 3 screws are longer than the others.Make unfailing you do not loose any screws as they are very small. I made sure that I used the same screw in the same hole it came out of. The covering should then come right off.You will see the memory. It is held in by a plastic clipping device. Gently spread the supple clip and slowly pull out the upper memory module. Do this also for the lower module. When you pray for out the module make sure you place it on the table so you know...
Recognized by my iMac 27-inch, Mid 2011 Recollection 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Justified installed the Corsair 8 GB (2X4 GB) Memory and was instantly recognized by my week old iMac.This is our first iMac after several years of PC usage.Cease to remember about the low star rating, the complaint was not about the product quality and handling, but a mistake on product breed.
    Prodigious memory and great price!
I chose Corsair reminiscence because they are a reliable brand and make great computer products. I also happen to use Corsair Vengeance recall in my desktop PC that has always been good to me. So, I decided to go with Corsair once again.I originally bought the 8gb memory upgrade from here at Amazon, installed, and everything was working monstrous for about a day or two. I put my macbook pro (2011) dec edition to sleep, came back and bam! Kernel panic error and was forced to reboot, only to get the same misprint message again and be forced to reboot. I couldn't even run a memory test but obviously faulty ram was the agent of my issues. I removed the Corsair memory and noticed there was an imperfection on one of the RAM contacts that I believe was causing my problems. Luckily, I held onto the bloodline samsung memory and returned the defective memory to Amazon.Amazon immediately processed my reciprocation and I ordered the same 8gb upgrade from Corsair here at Amazon again. Almost 2x faster than Firewire...
I tested this using a Lexar Pro 4GB 300x CF Easter card and a MacBook Pro running 10.4.10 (1st gen, so 400Mbs Firewire Port). I loaded the CF card by shooting 100 RAW files with a Canon 5D.Downloading 100 images with a Lexar CF Firewire Reader took 162 seconds. With this ExpressCard Adapter the same 100 images took 86 seconds -- so this artefact is almost 2x faster.I was a little confused by the description, but realized that if you are only using CF cards, this is all you need. Worked skilled right out of the box -- no drivers, no other accessories required. A lot smaller than most other readers, too, so great for tourism.
    Forces me to restart
I have a MacBook Pro, and after reading many reviews bought this artefact. The transfer speed is great, when it works. The trouble I have is every time I insert a card into the reader, I get that pearly screen that tells me to hold down the power button to restart my computer, in about 6 different languages. I restart, after loosing spread on the things this "grey screen of death" as interrupted, then I am able to read the card righteous fine. This is a horrible manufacture default. I'd give this product 1/2 a star if i could and if i could take a screen launching run when that grey screen appears, i would but this freezes my computer.I don't even know if what I received was a Delkin model as there is no marking on my reader at all. Bottom tailback: Do not buy this product.
Precise item, fast transfer, doesn't completely seat against side of MacBook Pro
Amazon did deliver the right item, and at a good price as well. It transfers images much faster than the native software for the Canon XTi, but I have a mind it would rest completely against the side of the computer. (see uploaded image) It's still better than a separate reader and a twine, but I would feel better about leaving the adapter in my 15" MacBook Pro if didn't stick out approx. 1/8th of an inch.
