Headcase Etch A Sketch Hard Case for iPad - Red
Details
DescriptionDefinitively, and iPad case for those of us who refuse to grow up and have always enjoyed the coolest toys. The Worlds Favorite Representation Toy meets the most revolutionary Apple product ever!Customer ReviewsLet me proclaim you why I "had" to give it a 5 star ratingI was universal to give this a 4, but after contacting GetAHeadcase with a warranty concern, I have to give it a five.I bought this as I wanted a iPad case with some fad and this fit the bill. It is cool and your friends will think so too!A few weeks after installing this I dropped my iPad for the first time. You can imagine the sucking in of my puff. It dropped from about 3 ft onto a hardwood floor. I looked and the Etch A Sketch case was in pieces. I picked up the iPad and it was intact, without a damage. While the Etch A Sketch case came a part, it snapped right back together and held together tight ever since. The reason I would have given this a 4 incomparable rating is that by the end of the first month of using this, the gold paint on the Etch A Sketch logo was rubbing off. About 1/2 of it was gone. That was a shame, because that is large part of how folks get the gag of the cover. Well I contacted GetAHeadcase Customer Support and told... Adds +10 for fun The headcase etch-a-sketch crate is well made and really does make people look twice when they see you using it. Simple, 2-shred, clip together hard case make it look like a toy but does not obscure any features from orthodox use.Pros+ well made+ easy to open with a quarter+ lots of fun+ can leave pad in car and no-one bothers to steal it+ did I direct attention to fun ?+ +10 geek pointsCons- like so many cases, not compatible with the ipad dock- Can't keep the kids somewhere else from it now.First run seemed to be limited. Hope they make more. Well expected I own one of these cases and it is very well expected. It is sturdy, has a nice felt pad around the center opening plus rubber bumpers that the iPad keep on being on inside the unit to avoid any sort of damage. All ports and buttons are accessible while in the receptacle and while the home button is a little more difficult to get to, it does not take away from the function of the button. To take the iPad out of the come what may, you will need to have a coin (dime or penny works best) to slightly twist in the two provided slots to type the top and bottom portions of the case. Again, a very minor issue, seeing as you want the case to be secure and not certainly to open when the iPad is inside. The rest of the design of the unit is amazing, they very much paid close notice to detail. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of fun with the iPad.

Unfortunately the design lacks functionality. The sleep button on the top fairness-hand side does not actually reach the real sleep button, and therefore doesn't vocation at all. And while there is a hole on the right hand side to control the volume, the back case comes out as far as the right anxious of the front of the case. The back of the case is curved in, so the end result is it is almost impossible to reach the controls. Whoever designed this was not distressed about actually using the iPad, they were just concerned about looks. The is almost as bad, again it's just hard to reach the wheel. Plus, everyone expects you to have an etch-a-sketch app, which it does not. Nice look but that's all it has going for it I indeed love the way the case look however it won't say close thus defeating the purpose for having a case. I would resurfacing it but I threw away the packing. I do not recommend this product. Fun handiwork but not very functional I was very discomfited to purchase this for my husband for nostalgic reasons, but we were both disappointed after we actually got in on the iPad. It didn't want to secure together when putting it on the iPad, and the kick stands break off every time we try to use them. When we finally got the case on correctly, it didn't seem like a legitimate fit; if it's not in just right, the case causes the power button to stay pressed down. We were unusually disappointed by the high price; I really thought the quality would be better considering what I paid for it. Would not advocate this to anyone.

The case is a very tight fit, and takes a lot of effort to remove. But seriously unless you fluctuate your case to match your outfit why would you want to remove it anyhow? ... Okay, my excuse was to add a secrecy screen cover. I can also attest to its functionality as a protective cover. My phone fell from about 2-1/2 feet and the only expense is a small white spot near the corner that hit the tile.Only one complaint, I wish the knobs absolutely worked so I could play and draw on my iP4! :) My Leader thought it was a toy! Well, technically the firsthand Etch A Sketch is, but this great little case had him fooled. I work all day with school age kids and this one is a hit with them - I think it's kinda abate too! It is bulkier than a standard case, but fits perfectly in my hand and still slides snug in a enfold over belt case. Great fun in a good case. Cunning as pie Very firm. Thickness of case can make it hard to hit keys at edges. Not hard to get used to. This come what may would be great for kids. Gets lots of smiles from friends. |

In event, we would go so far as to say that it looks remarkably like every slab every to hit the streets and we are, frankly, open-mouthed that the license was ever granted in the first make a splash.
