Tremendous Portable Printer with optional WIFI, Bluetooth or Wireless
This is a very personal property portable printer and comes in three versions. The printer for all 3 versions is identical, but difference is in the rechargeable freestyle, the wifi wireless, and bluetooth communicator.There are some negative reviews for this printer stating impoverished photo print quality or subpar text. But this is due to the user not reading the manual which distinctly explains that the supplied cartridges are for general use. If you are going to print photos, then you need to purchasing the photo cartridge for superb prints. If you want deep crisp text, then Videotape #88 does the job. So the negative reviews are not fair to HP or the prospective buyer.This is a great teeny printer which can go on the road by either powering it through the car adapter or rechargeable battery (not included with the basic ideal)Also, this printer can print from cellphone pics, and other handheld devices such as PDA (via bluetooth technology). Satisfied so far
I right-minded received mine. The device is about as light but somewhat bulkier than I had expected. Also, the parts are made of very light bulk plastic, so its not nearly as rugged as a laptop. For example, that top panel could be irreparably broken off by an errant elbow. I was competent to get a third party bluetooth adapter working in just a few minutes, although I had to install the print drivers from the included DVD. I was tolerably pleased that the power adapter is the same model used by HP pavillion laptops - so road warriors only privation 1 power adapter for both printer and laptop. Also, the print quality is outstanding. Whether b/w or color, its producing prints that are reasonable as high quality as full size printers.

A few quirks, but gets the job done
I've got a bit of a enjoyment-hate relationship with the H4700. It's a necessity in many cases, and has saved me a few times with last minute writing jobs that I overlooked or the ability to print out drafts in a hotel room, conference forefront, or even airport. However, there a few things that really frustrate me about the printer. The primary of these is that HP should have named this the H4700-ala-carte printer because everything detour from basic functionality requires the use of a dongle (for wireless and blue-tooth, both of which cost practically fifty dollars each) and if you want to print photos or graphics, you need an additional ink videotape. Then there are a few functionality issues:1. The blue-tooth connectivity is a bit sporadic, and each time the timer is lost, it takes some messing around to get the print job started back up.2. The loading tray for the records is a bit prone to jamming, but I suppose nothing worse than most printers with a top loading tray...

Very elevated for what it does
A teeny background: I already have two printers I use. My Epson R2400 is a great photo printer, but only a mediocre run-of-the-mill purpose printer. My old HP LaserJet 4M still does the job, but it has some limitations. It's a big energy hog/space heater, so I don't vamoose it on, and it takes a while to warm up. It's black and white only. And the single feed tray no longer works. I reflection this little HP inkjet might be a replacement for my general purpose printing, of which I don't do a lot. I was also intrigued by its Bluetooth faculty; I don't print very often from my laptop, but Bluetooth would be a very convenient way to do it when I want to.I first loaded up the software on my laptop, which took a while. HP is indubitably not frugal in loading software. At one point the instructions were to just follow the "add printer" instructions in Windows (XP), which weren't fully clear for adding a Bluetooth printer. I didn't have much trouble figuring it out, but I've been dealing...

Almost excellent if you need portability
We already have a believable color inkjet printer in the house - but we've been wanting something portable for the last year or so. The main use for this printer is for my strife to take to 'scrapbook weekends'. A little printer is very useful when scrapbooking, but it's just too big of a hassle to lug the full-size printer around with her.This Officejet 100 plastic printer fits the bill perfectly! Although we ran into some unexpected problems, the overall experience was far better than we expected for a printer of this hugeness. (I will go over some of the issues we've run into during this review.)Before I get into the specifics of this printer, I should mention that we replaced the included dark HP98 cartridge with a photo-color HP99 cartridge. The documentation doesn't mention whether this is possible, and the favourable of the printer doesn't list it as being compatible - so I was a bit nervous. Honestly, the only reference I found to the HP99 anywhere was an obscure...
Dissertation Feed Big Problem
I had penetrating hopes for this mobile printer since I have purchased several HP printers and previously had the HP450 mobile printer. Deliver assign to one review about paper feed problems but thought that since the other reviews gave it high marks....I installed it according to directions--using the disk old to plugging the printer into the computer. All set up, loaded paper into the printer, plugged it into the computer and when I tried to print a assess page, got the message that there was no paper in the printer. Took the paper out, re-inserted it, still the same message. After several times of common through the same process, it printed. Used it at work the next day, and it was very sporadic in printing with paper always available. HP would not take the printer back--they only wanted to renew it. Fortunately, the vendor I purchased the printer from did allow me to return it. I have replaced my mobile printer with a Canon printer and it is working wonderfully.

Chic, thrifty little printer
This unyielding, little HP printer seems to be a work horse. It is perfect for printing ready-to-sign documents when with a shopper in the field. As near as I can sense, it has all the qualities of a larger model, but is small and light enough to bear with my laptop together in one case. I've had no problems at all and would recommend it without reservation.

Grand Mobile Printer
This is a noteworthy printer and has come in handy more than once. I am in the military and do a great deal traveling around and this printer has been there to do the job numerous times. It is hair-splitting and compact where it fits in the same backpack as the laptop that I use it on. Have been able to print out items in the field being has a freestyle on the printer as well. Very lightweight and rugged as well. Is able to withstand some rough handling and bumping and still calling like a champ. All around great product.

dense but not as fast as wished
The H470 is a satisfying little printer and prints very fast, but there is always a delay of 10-30 seconds before printing even starts. At times the linger is followed by a message of a mis-aligned cartridge, so I find myself a bit frustrated at times. The telling statistic is that if I had it to do over again, I would have done even more investigate and probably gotten a different printer.jw
