Rather Disappointed in This Product/Price
I am in reality disappointed in Amazon that they would allow something like this product to be sold at such a high price. I effect they took a loss on the Fire itself, but I wasn't aware that they were going to make up for that when selling the accessories.I bought this because I scheme that my chargers for my older Kindles wouldn't work with the Fire---SURPRISE, of course they do. Plus, they have a longer twine (the older models) so you may be a lot more comfortable while reading on the Fire while it's charging.It is so not worth 25$. Not Much To Say Except, IT WORKS!!!
Well, I don't be sure exactly why the passPORT won't work for the 1-star reviewer, BUT IT WORKED FOR ME! I got a Panasonic CQ-C7303U announce 2 years ago and then the iPod adapter for it over 1 year ago. At that time, I had the 5th gen iPod video, then after that crapped out on me, I got the 3rd gen. nano (8GB). Then I upgraded to the 4th gen. nano almost as in a little while as it came out, so I could have double the memory (16GB).Well, once I got the 4th gen. nano and plugged it into my radio, everything worked (it played/enclosed through the radio), but I would get this message at the bottom of the nano's screen saying: "Charging is not supported for this accessory". (Or something like that.) And indeed the nano vanished battery power much faster than it would listening to music through the headphones. (It makes since that more force would be sucked up listening to music through the docking port.) Since I mostly listen to my nano in my merchandise (Panasonic radio), I depended on the radio...

Iphone 3G users pay tight-fisted attention
Entirely put, it works in some situations and not in others. If you're looking for an in-car solution for your Iphone 3G, you need to pay attention to how your Iphone works with your in-car result right now. If you get the "nag screen" about putting it in airplane mode, and it won't charge, but you can get sound out of it through your car stereo, this will effort for you. If you can't get it to charge or you can't get sound out of it, this unit WILL NOT WORK. Scosche is not being very upfront about the capabilities of the PassPort so you paucity to take it from buyers like me who ended up having to resort to buying new headunits (Pioneer DEH-4000UB, if you're inquisitive) that definitely WILL charge and get audio from the Iphone 3G. So this gets 2 stars - it will work in certain situations, but not in all, and it gets unmistakable off for shoddy, misleading marketing from Scosche.

Matter speeds on LTE are excellent, but this device comes with some limitations and drawbacks that keep it from a 5 star ratings. First, and noted, the configuration is **much** more complicated that anticipated. As a techie, I wondered how any non-technical person would have set this thing up. Sponsor, this device does not automatically switch between LTE and CDMA. You must manually specify which network you longing to join. When I first started testing this thing, I thought it was faulty, since I was only getting .7Mbps. Turns out, it was set to "Extensive", which wouldn't utilize LTE until I specified LTE Only. This makes it really annoying when traveling on the road and leaving township, or going to a fringe area, where service might otherwise switch back and forth based on signal energy.
