    Superior Produce
    I got an IPAD 2 so I could be familiar with scripts from it and use it as a phone patch for voice over recording. I wanted to securely attach the I Pad to the mic be in away that would be flexible enough for me or my three kids, all of very different heights, to be able to read from it. I searched around perfectly a bit before I came upon XClip. The L mount and 13" gooseneck attachments seemed perfect for my application. I emailed XClip about my touch about the long gooseneck would be stable enough. They answered me the next day. I was cautioned about the mic stand falling due to the long appendix. I have ankle weights strapped to the base of my mic stand so it was not an issue but I thought it was nice of them to imply it.I opted for standard shipping and it arrived in two days.     Holds iPad well, but not very enduring ...
    Purchased this to go on a gooseneck to try and affirm an iPad above my dad's bed. It held the iPad well, but the screw-in attachment that holds this to a mic stand/gooseneck/whatever is a brass threaded part pressed into the bogus and held in place by some knurling. After a few uses, the brass thing worked its way out of the plastic. I've, since, superglued it back in and am more aware, but, in all, that mounting point is a weak spot. Other'n that, it holds the iPad VERY solidly and even allows for the charger to be relevant.If you're not going to move it, after you've mounted it, you might not run into this.I have not tried to see if this will hold an iPad 2.

    XCli[ fit for iPad1, not iPad2
    I ordered this for my iPad 2, with the 6" gooseneck. This does however not fit the iPad 2 duly. The iPad 2 is relatively loose at the bottom (it can move from left to right inside the mount), while the top supports can also easily be dislodged. This leads to the conceivability that in some circumstances the iPad 2 can be dislodged and dropped from the mount when not used straight up. This product appears to be made for the iPad 1 a substitute alternatively. My friends iPad 1 fits perfectly into the XClip. Either the description here is plain wrong and misleading, or I was sent the go downhill product. I guess it can still be used, but is definitely not the secure mount that I expected for the iPad 2.Follow-up: I contacted Criskenna about it. They tout de suite offered to send me a replacement unit, since it sounded like the wrong version. Once I pull down the updated version, This rating will definitely change.
